Marjorie Gressler Afonso

Marjorie Afonso practices in the areas of competition and regulatory law, advising both domestic and international clients on complex matters before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and other public authorities. In the competition law field, she has extensive experience in merger control and conduct investigations, having worked on merger notifications and challenges, as well as the defense and representation of clients in investigations involving anticompetitive practices. She also advises clients on the review of market practices adopted by companies. Marjorie has experience advising clients on regulatory matters before several agencies, including ANATEL, ANP, and ANEEL. She also has experience in strategic litigation, including public civil actions and administrative misconduct lawsuits. Before joining Levy & Salomão Advogados, she worked in the competition law practice of a law firm in London.
