- Advising on the management of environmental liabilities, including:
• Representation in civil and criminal investigations, administrative proceedings, and judicial litigation
• Negotiation of conduct adjustment agreements (TACs) and environmental settlements
- Conducting environmental and mining legal audits (due diligence), including assessment of regulatory risks related to mining assets
- Advising on environmental permitting processes
- Waste management and reverse logistics
- Review and implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) policies
- Structuring and advising on carbon credit projects and related transactions
- Design and implementation of compliance programs and training in environmental and mining matters
- Advising on the development and implementation of mining operations
- Advising on transactions involving the acquisition or sale of mining assets and their holding companies
- Structuring of financing for mining projects
- Representation in administrative proceedings and litigation involving mining matters
