Renata has experience in a variety of Antitrust, Compliance and International Trade matters.
She has worked in complex merger control notifications relating to high-profile multijurisdictional deals to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (“Cade”) and has solid experience in merger control matters.
Renata frequently advises clients with respect to investigations opened by Cade regarding anticompetitive conducts, including negotiation of plea agreements. She also frequently advises clients with respect to international trade matters.
Renata has experience in large-scale internal investigations, both from antitrust and anti-corruption perspectives. She acts in negotiations of leniency agreements with the General Comptroller's office (“CGU”), the Federal Attorney General (“AGU”) and the Prosecutors’ office with respect to bribery allegations.
She assists in the development, review and implementation of compliance programs. She also conducts due diligence procedures from both antitrust and anticorruption laws perspectives in the context of M&A transactions.
