Brazilian socialite’s award upheld in Paris

A French court has upheld a US$120 million ICC award in favour of a company owned by Brazilian philanthropist and socialite Lily Safra in a shareholder dispute with the owners of Brazil’s largest supermarket chain. Angela Di Franco, partner of Levy & Salomão, advised Morzan (Lily Safra's company) in the arbitration.
